भगवामय हुआ महाशिवरात्रि का त्यौहार हर हर महादेव और जय श्री राम के नारों से गूंज उठा सागवाड़ा शहर का एक-एक कोना प्रति वर्ष की भांति इस वर्ष भी महाशिवरात्रि का त्यौहार धूमधाम के साथ मनाया गया प्रातः सर्व समाज की ओर से गमलेश्वर महादेव मंदिर सागवाड़ा से विशाल शोभायात्रा एवं महादेव की फूलों से सुसज्जित पालकी बैंड बाजों के साथ लाव लश्कर और घोड़े और ऊंट की सवारी के साथ शाही सवारी निकाली गई यह शोभायात्रा गोल चौराहा नेहरू बाजार सदर बाजार मांडवी चौक पोल का कोठा होते हुए पुनः गमलेश्वर महादेव मंदिर परिसर में पहुंची । इस दौरान पूरे शहर में धूम-धड़ाके के साथ गाजे-बाजे के साथ आतिशबाजी भी की गई। डूंगरपुर बांसवाड़ा सांसद कनक मल कटारा ने भी इस शोभायात्रा में भाग लिया और महादेव के दर्शन कर क्षेत्र में सुख समृद्धि की कामना की। इस दौरान नगर पालिका अध्यक्ष नरेंद्र खोडनिया ने इस शोभायात्रा में क्रेन के सहारे आसमान से फूल बरसाए यह दृश्य देखकर शिव भक्त और शहर के 36 कोम के नागरिक गदगद हो गए। इस अवसर पर जिला कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष दिनेश खोडनिया ने भी इस शोभायात्रा में शरीक होकर शोभा यात्रा में चार चांद लगा दिए महिला पुरुष बुजुर्ग और बच्चे शोभायात्रा में भक्ति रस में झूम उठे । शोभायात्रा जब मांडवी चौक पहुंची तो वहां पर गरबा रास का आयोजन भी हुआ और कंसारा चौक स्थित पार्वती माता के मंदिर पर पालकी पहुंची तो वहां पर शिव और पार्वती का शादी समारोह आयोजित हुआ जहां हर हर महादेव और जय श्री राम और शंखनाद के साथ आरती उतारी गई इस दौरान पूर्व नगरपालिका अध्यक्ष सत्यनारायण सोनी भी झूम उठे। इस शोभायात्रा में शिव के परिवेश में शिव बरात की टोली आकर्षण का केंद्र रही। पुलिस प्रशासन ने शांति और व्यवस्था बनाए रखने में अपनी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। इस दौरान थाना अधिकारी सुरेंद्र सोलंकी थानाधिकारी राजेंद्र सिंह चौहान ट्रैफिक इंचार्ज हेड कांस्टेबल राजेंद्र सिंह चौहान, शहरी बीट कांस्टेबल वीरेंद्र सिंह, अमित पुरी गोस्वामी, बापू लाल जोशी, आदि मौजूद रहे । आपको बता दें कि इस पूरे कार्यक्रम में सागवाड़ा नगर के सभी जनप्रतिनिधि राजनीति को एक तरफ रख कर भक्ति के रस में गोते लगाते हुए नजर आए।

During this, former municipal president Satyanarayan Soni also jumped. In this procession, the group of Shiv Barat was the center of attraction in the surroundings of Shiva.
