Ingredients :
For making Paniyaram Batter:
1)Raw rice - 2 cups (400g)
2)Urad dal - 1 cup (200g)
3) Water - 1 & 3/4 cup for grinding
✨Soaking time of rice and Urad dal- 2 & 1/2 hours
✨Grinding Time - 20 mins.
✨For making Kara paniyaram & tempering
Salt - 1 tsp
Oil - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - few
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Red chillies - 4 no.
Oil for deep frying
✨For Making Pal Paniyaram:
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Oil - for deep frying
✨Making of Coconut Milk:
Grated coconut - 1 & 3/4 cup
Water for Coconut milk - 1 & 3/4 cup
Jaggery - 1 cup
Water for Jaggery Syrup - 1/4 cup
Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tsp
✨Making of Onion Chutney:
Small onions - 3/4 cup
Red chilli powder - 3/4 tbsp
Salt - 1 tsp
✨Tempering the chutney
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - few
