ザトウムシあるいはメクラグモと呼ばれる
この生き物は、見た目はクモに似ていますが
実はクモではありません。
彼らは、クモ綱ザトウムシ目に属する節足動物です。
私たちがよくクモと呼んでいるのは
クモ綱クモ目に属すものなので
ザトウムシは本当のクモではありません。
クモ綱に属するサソリ(サソリ目)とダニ(厳密にはダニ亜綱)を
クモと呼ばないことと同じ理屈です。
では、ザトウムシはクモとどういった違いがあるのでしょうか。
今日は、ザトウムシに関するお話です。
