تعد قصبة بولعوان، المعلمة التاريخية والتراثية بتراب إقليم الجديدة، وبموقعها المنيع والمحصن فوق ربوة صخرية على الضفة اليسرى لنهر أم الربيع، من أهم المواقع التي تحظى بأهمية كبرى في تنشيط السياحة القروية بهذا الإقليم.
فهذه المعلمة، التي تقع على بعد 85 كلم شرق مدينة الجديدة، والتي صنفت تراثا وطنيا بمقتضى ظهير11 مارس 1924، أنشأها المولى إسماعيل سنة 1122هـ/ 1710م، ضمن سلسلة القصبات التي شيدها هذا السلطان العلوي عبر ربوع مملكته من أجل التحكم في الممرات والمسالك.
La Kasbah de Boulaouane, haut lieu historique et patrimonial du territoire de la région d'El Jadida, avec sa situation imprenable et fortifiée sur une colline rocheuse sur la rive gauche de la rivière Oum Er-Rbia, est l'un des sites les plus importants qui jouissent d'une grande importance dans la stimulation du tourisme rural dans cette région.
Ce monument, situé à 85 km à l'est de la ville d'El Jadida, et classé au patrimoine national par décret royal du 11 mars 1924, a été construit par Moulay Ismail en 1122 AH/1710 après JC, dans le cadre d'une série de citadelles que ce sultan alaouite a fait construire à travers son royaume afin de contrôler les passages et les chemins.
The Kasbah of Boulaouane, a historical and heritage landmark in the territory of the El Jadida region, and with its impregnable and fortified location on a rocky hill on the left bank of the Oum Er-Rbia River, is one of the most important sites that enjoy great importance in activating rural tourism in this region. This landmark, located 85 km east of the city of El Jadida, and which was classified as a national heritage by virtue of the Dahir of March 11, 1924, was established by Moulay Ismail in 1122 AH / 1710 AD, as part of a series of kasbahs that this Alaouite sultan built across the lands of his kingdom in order to control the passages and paths.
