কৃষ্ণ (সংস্কৃত: कृष्ण) হলেন হিন্দু ধর্মানুসারীদের আরাধ্য ভগবান । তিনি ভগবান বিষ্ণুর অষ্টম অবতার রূপে খ্যাত। কখনো কখনো তাকে সর্বোচ্চ ঈশ্বর ('পরম সত্ত্বা') অভিধায় ভূষিত করা হয় এবং হিন্দুদের অন্যতম ধর্মগ্রন্থ ভগবদ্গীতার প্রবর্তক হিসাবে মান্য করা হয়। হিন্দু বর্ষপঞ্জী অনুসারে প্রতিবছর ভাদ্রমাসের কৃষ্ণপক্ষের অষ্টমী (জন্মাষ্টমী) তিথিতে তার জন্মোৎসব পালন করা হয়।
