"A Love Letter to China" tells the story of Nasja, a 27-year-old Russian girl who came to Shanghai, China to study international law as a postgraduate student. She loves traditional Chinese culture, experiences Chinese activities such as making spring rolls, massage, mahjong and writing Spring Festival scrolls in China, and visits red scenic spots. Thinking that her grandparents are also Communist Party members, she has a strong interest in Marxism. When she misses home in China, she goes to a Russian restaurant to feel the atmosphere of home.
