Mullet are found right around the Australian coastline and also well upstream in many of our coastal river systems. They're fun to catch, good to eat, and make great baits for all manner of predators. In this fun-filled, action-packed how-to episode, Steve 'Starlo' Starling shows you an easy-but-deadly way to successfully target these abundant fish. GEAR USED: For the mullet, Starlo ran a 500-size Shimano Vanford FA reel spooled with 6 pound Kairiki braid on a Shimano Expride 259UL spin rod, and he attached a leader of 3 pound fluorocarbon monofilament. When live baiting, he used a Shimano SLX XT 150XG baitcaster reel spooled with 15 pound Kairiki braid on a Shimano T Curve Premium 681 rod with a 30 pound mono leader. That nifty little float Steve used on the mullet was one of his son Tom's "Jet Pack" bait lifter floats from the www.starlotackle.com on-line store.
