120g soft flour
baking powder half teaspoon
Granulated sugar 40g
Butter (no salt) 60g
1 egg yolk
Powdered sugar Appropriate amount (granulated sugar can also be substituted)
[Preparation]
- Sift the flours (soft flour and baking powder) together and put them in a bowl. Add granulated sugar to it and mix it with the flour by hand.
・Cut the butter into 1cm cubes and chill.
- Separate the eggs into yolks and whites. (By the way, unused egg whites are delicious when added to miso soup.)

① Add butter to the combined flour and mix the butter and flour with your fingers.
➁When it becomes powdery, add the egg yolk and mix by hand to combine.
➂Place the dough on plastic wrap and roll it out to a thickness of 5mm to 1cm.
④ Let it rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. (←Can be stored in this state for about 2 weeks)
⑤ Cut into desired shapes and arrange on a cookie sheet.
➅170℃ (with preheating)/18 minutes
⑦ Once it has cooled down, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
[Supplement] If the egg yolk makes the dough difficult to come together, add about 1 teaspoon of milk.
