Recipe for: Homemade Gingerbread with Sweet. Soft and Delicious!
Required products:
3 eggs
150 gr. sugar
60 gr. butter
4 tablespoons honey
Half a vial of liquid vanilla
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Half a teaspoon of salt
500 g flour, pre-sifted
Strawberry jam for sticking
Preparation method:
Mix the dry ingredients:
Add the baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon to the flour. Mix well.
Prepare the liquid mixture:
Add the sugar to the eggs and beat with a mixer until you get a white glossy mixture.
Add the butter in small lumps, honey and vanilla. Continue mixing until everything is well mixed.
Mix everything:
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the liquid mixture, stirring constantly. You should get a thick, sticky dough.
When the mixer starts to get difficult, start mixing with a spatula. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and continue adding the dry ingredients.
Knead the dough:
Flour the counter and pour the dough onto it. Start kneading by hand until you get a soft and easily pliable dough.
Shape the dough into a ball and carefully roll it out to about half a centimeter thick.
Shaping and baking:
Using a glass, cut out circles and arrange them on a baking sheet with baking paper.
Bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees, without a fan, in the lower part of the oven, for about 7-8 minutes. No more, so they don't get dry.
Gather the remaining dough, knead and shape again in the same way.
Gluing:
Smear one gingerbread with jam and glue it to another. Arrange the glued gingerbreads on a platter.
