कणके साठी | For Dough
• गव्हाचे पीठ १ कप | Wheat Flour 1 cup
• बेसन १ चमचे | Besan 1 tbsp
• मीठ चवीनुसार | Salt to taste
• कडकडीत तेल २ चमचे | Hot oil 1 tsp
सारण करण्यासाठी | For Modak Stuffing
• सुक्या खोबऱ्याचा किस १ कप | Grated Dry Coconut 1 cup
• चिरलेला गूळ १/२ ते ३/४ कप | Chopped Jaggery ½ - ¾ cup
• भाजलेली खसखस १ चमचा | Roasted Poppy seeds 1 tsp
• वेलची पूड १/४ चमचा | Cardamom pw ¼ tsp
How to Make Wheat Flour Ukadiche Modak Recipe | Gul Khobryache Modak Recipe
To make dough -
• Into a mixing bowl take wheat flour, besan & salt mix them well & then add hot oil to this & mis using a spoon
• Then rub the oil all over the flour & then knead the tight yet soft dough using water
• Cover the dough & let it sit for 30 mins
To make Modak Stuffing -
• Into a mixing bowl take grated coconut, jaggery, cardamom pw & roasted poppy seeds & mix everything well. Out Stuffing is ready
How to shape modak -
• Take the dough, knead it well for 2 mins & make small balls from it
• Using wheat flour, roll small puri size thin roti
• Make the modak petals shown in the video, add stuffing & close the modak
• Shape all the modak following the same process
How to steam modak -
• heat some water into a steamer
• Into a steamer plate put banana leaf or grease the plate with oil
• Put the modak onto the plate & steam the modak for 15 mins on med heat
