I was very much blown away hearing this song the first time since it just doesn't feel like an Undertale song at so many points. The fact it was so far removed from that identity helped me write and sing in a way that felt quite free. Taking a bit from Azzy's take with Sans being very much in the role of "God" and the pure insanity of the original, I opted very much for a "hopeless soldier with delusions of grandeur" vibe with the writing. Making Sans seem like a force of nature destroying both you and himself in every possible world and outcome was important and sounds pretty profound. Please take note, I made it a point craft the lyrics in the most edgy was possible in spite of this.
Also, thank you to Mar Mar for helping out with the mix and instrumental! You can thank him for the sick guitar solo.
