Straight off a Mets walk-off win, we share what the Mets did right vs. San Francisco, why Mets fans can stay positive, what the Mets NEED to do vs. the Dodgers this week and why you should be here!
A large chunk of the episode is devoted to an interview we did with Jon’s hero Mike Francesa, and what a perfect time for it with the Mets playing the Giants. We get to the bottom of the age-old question of “Do the football Giants and the baseball Giants ever get together?" This is an interview we’d been waiting to make happen since we started Meet at the Apple. Mike was a great guest who left no topic untouched and was happy to walk us through his biggest moments while giving us a little backstory.
