বাংলাদেশের বঙ্গোপসাগর তীরে থাকেন এক মা। তার বড় ছেলে সাগরে মাছ ধরতে গিয়ে ২০০৭ সালের ঘূর্ণিঝড় সিডরে নিখোঁজ হয়। তখন থেকেই মা তার ছেলের খোঁজে বাড়ি ছেড়ে সাগর তীরে একাই থাকেন। ওই মায়ের ধারণা তার বড় ছেলে একদিন ফিরে আসবে। তাই নানা প্রতিকূলতার মাঝেও তিনি সাগরতীরে থাকেন।

A mother lives on the shores of the Bay of Bengal in Bangladesh. Her elder son went missing in the 2007 cyclone while fishing in the sea. Since then, she left home and lived alone on the seashore in search of that boy. The mother thinks that her eldest son will return one day. So she lives in a small house on the seashore in spite of various difficulties.
