I paddled solo for 6 days and 5 nights, crossing over 140 km (nearly 90 miles) through one of America’s wildest and most beautiful landscapes. Starting in the Okefenokee Swamp in Georgia, I traveled from north to south, weaving through winding waterways, past alligators, birds, and endless stretches of untouched nature.
Camping alone on raised platforms deep in the swamp, I had the wilderness completely to myself for the first 48 hours. From there, I connected to the Suwannee River, wild camping along its peaceful banks as it carried me into Florida (the river continues to the Gulf of Mexico).
This is a cinematic experience of raw nature — the sounds, the sights, the solitude. Long days of paddling, quiet nights under the stars, and immersive encounters with the wild.
