Sometimes you discover something that you just know
가끔 무언가를 발견할 때가 있는데,
you're never going to forget for the rest of your life.
평생 잊지 못할 그런 것 있잖아요.
And just when I finally thought I had a grasp on Korean food and Korean flavors,
제가 마침내 한국 음식에 대해서 이해했다고 생각했을 때,
something comes along and shatters my expectations.
뭔가가 나타나 제 예상을 깨뜨려버렸어요.
Jinmi Chojang-jip did exactly that
진미 초장집이 정확히 그랬었는데,
in tiny alleyways and small tents all around Gijang
그곳은 기장 인근 작은 골목길 포장마차에 있는 식당이에요.
They're serving changoh-gui, or grilled eel,
이 식당은 장어구이를 파는 곳이에요.
and Jinmi Chojang-jip is a humble little shack resting next to the sea.
진미 초장집은 바다 옆에 있는 작은 판잣집이에요.
But the flavors coming out of this little shed are nothing short of spectacular.
그런데 이 작은 오두막 같은 곳에서 파는 음식의 맛은 아주 기가 막혀요.
