永昌古廟位於廣東揭陽市揭西縣棉湖鎮北爺門,由玄天古廟、雲湖庵和雲境庵組成,佔地面積 1321 平方米。相傳始建於宋代,明清多次重修。廟內供奉北極真武玄天上帝,庵供奉娑婆三聖。其壁嵌 60 幅清代立體石浮雕,天盤倒吊藻井為三層通花金漆木雕,前廳“龍鳳藻井”是潮汕古建築藻井精品。1994 年被列為揭西縣縣級文物保護單位。永昌古廟集佛、道和地方神崇拜於一體,是粵東地區僅有古跡,又稱“北闕佛光”,承載著深厚的歷史文化內涵。 Yongchang Ancient Temple is located at Beiyemen, Mianhu Town, Jiexi County, Jieyang City, Guangdong Province. It is composed of Xuantian Ancient Temple, Yunhu Nunnery and Yunjing Nunnery, covering an area of 1321 square meters. According to legend, it was first built in the Song Dynasty and renovated many times in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The temple enshrines Zhenwu Xuantian Emperor of the North Pole. The nunnery enshrines the Three Sages of Saha. Its walls are inlaid with 60 three-dimensional stone reliefs of the Qing Dynasty. The inverted caisson on the ceiling is a three-layer openwork gold lacquer wood carving. The "dragon and phoenix caisson" in the front hall is a fine example of caissons in ancient Chaoshan architecture. In 1994, it was listed as a county-level cultural relic protection unit in Jiexi County. Yongchang Ancient Temple integrates the worship of Buddhism, Taoism and local gods. It is the only ancient site in eastern Guangdong. It is also known as "Běi Quē fó guāng" and contains profound historical and cultural connotations.
