1. He did what was right in the sight of God but not with the whole heart
2. He did obey the Law of Moses but not with the whole heart
3. He did listen to the words of the Prophet but not with the whole heart
Because of his half-hearted nature, eventually he rejected God and God rejected him. His end was terrible.
