Today’s recipe is Diwali special Besan ladoo. This is one of the must recipes for Diwali celebration. I will share perfect proportions to make raval ladoo today. These ladoos turn out nice, soft, rawal and they don’t stick in your mouth while eating. They will hold their round shape too!! Also we are using the besan that we use regularly at home. You don’t have to go out and buy besan to make these ladoo. This is a very easy and simple recipe. The ladoo looks nice and tastes just awesome. Besides, we are making the ladoos in 1 kilo proportion!! Try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. You also can like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 500 gm Besan
• 50 gm chopped Cashew nuts (Optional)
• 50 gm chopped Almonds (Optional)
• 10 green Cardamom
• 200 gm + 2~3 tsp Ghee
• 1/4 cup fine Rava (Optional)
• 300 gm powdered Sugar
• Black Raisins for garnishing
Method:
• Roast the besan on medium heat really good for about 10 minutes.
• When it turns light golden and nice aroma is release from it, add ghee and mix well.
• Roast it well together for 10 minutes more until ghee begins to release form it.
• Add rava and dry nuts and roast it well together for another 10 minutes.
• Adding rava and dry nuts is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
• When the mixture gets nice glaze and ghee floats on it, it means that the besan is roasted well.
• Turn the gas off and transfer the mixture into a dish.
• Spread it and let the mixture cool down for about 20-25 minutes.
• When the mixture is still warm, add powdered sugar and mix everything well together.
• You can blend battase in mixture and use that powder in place of powdered sugar.
• Add cardamom powder and mix well.
• Roll out ladoos from the mixture and garnish with black raisins. Besan ladoos are ready.
• You can make 25 medium size ladoos from the proportions used. These weigh a little more than 1
kilo.
