Video Not Working? Fix It Now

This old folk and fairy tale is from 1850, but it goes back much further than that here in Suffolk, East Anglia. The story of "Cap o' Rushes" is old version of the Cinderella style story. The story of Cap o' Rushes was spoken in the old Suffolk dialect with the old accent intact, which is contained within the writing of this 1850 version. This has been read using the accent I was brought up with and still use to this day, even though sadly this way of speaking is disappearing in these modern times. Thanks for listening. x
