Aloo Ki Wadiyan Ingredients:
Oil 2 Tbsp
Ghee 2 Tbsp
Hing 1 tsp
Punjabi Wadi 2 Nos.
Potatoes 2 Nos.
Onion Paste ½ Cup
Ginger & Garlic Paste 2 Tbsp
Green Chillies 3-4pcs
Tomato Paste ½ Cup
Salt 1 Tbsp
Jeera 1 tbsp
Bayleaf 2-3 pcs
Kashmiri Chilly Powder 1 Tbsp
Turmeric Powder 1 Tbsp
Coriander Powder 1 Tbsp
Jeera Powder ½ Tbsp
Kasoori Methi 1 tbsp
Garam Masala Powder 1 Tsp
Chopped Coriander 2 Tbsp
Method:
Break wadiyan into bite size pieces.
Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the wadiyan.
Soak wadiyan into water.
Grind onion, ginger, garlic, green chillies, tomato together to make a smooth paste.
Heat oil in a cooker add grounded masala paste and cook till masala leaves oil.
Add potato and wadiyan in the pan and mix thoroughly.
Add salt, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and cook it nicely.
Add hot water and cover the cooker lid.
Allow to cook on medium flame for 2 whistles.
Open the lid, finish the dish with garam masala and chopped coriander.
