Hi everyone! I know it has been a while since I have posted... this semester I have just been around the clock busy and some of that is because of my involvement in Greek life at the University of Michigan. I wanted to share with you guys what my recruitment process was like because I watched a billion of these videos before I got to experience the real thing. I really tried showing the reality of it all, but just like I needed to keep reminding myself in the video, everything does work out the way it is supposed to. Looking back I was definitely a tad dramatic about certain aspects, but I think that was mostly because it went very differently than I thought it would. So it took some adjustment and then it was smooth sailing. Overall, I am beyond happy with where I am at and know that where I ended up was meant for me.
If anyone reading this is going through recruitment, I want to remind you that whatever happens is not reflective of you as a person. There are so many factors that go into getting asked back and so don't let it change your perception of yourself. You are perfect the way you are and any sorority would be lucky to have you.
