এই ভিডিওটি নরওয়ের বিশ্বের শেষ শহর এবং উত্তর মেরুর কাছাকাছি অবস্থিত স্বালবার্ড সম্পর্কে। যেখানে একটানা চার মাস অন্ধকার থাকে! এবং একটানা পাঁচ মাস সূর্য ডুবে না! এমন একটি দেশ যেখানে নেই কোন কারাগার, যেখানে কোন কৃষিকাজ ও ফশল ফলানো যায় না, যেখানে খাদ্য নিয়ে আসতে হয় অন্য দেশ থেকে!স্বালবার্ডে শীতকাল দীর্ঘ ও তীব্র ঠান্ডাযুক্ত। শীতকালে তাপমাত্রা বিশ ডিগ্রী থেকে তিরিশ ডিগ্রী পর্যন্ত নেমে যেতে পারে। গ্রীষ্মকালে এটি সাধারণত পাঁচ ডিগ্রী থেকে দশ ডিগ্রী এর মধ্যে থাকে। এপ্রিল থেকে আগস্ট পর্যোন্ত এখানে সূর্য অস্ত যায় না, যাকে "মিডনাইট সান" বলা হয়। আবার নভেম্বর থেকে ফেব্রুয়ারি পর্যন্ত সম্পূর্ণ অন্ধকার, যাকে "পোলার নাইট" বলা হয়। শীতকালে এখানে দেখা যায় অসাধারণ "নর্দান লাইট্স" বা অরোরা বোরিয়ালিস, যা স্বালবার্ডকে এক অনন্য সৌন্দর্যের স্থান করে তুলেছে। স্বালবার্ডে মানুষের থেকেও বেশি মেরু ভাল্লুক বাস করে! এখানে আনুমানিক তিন হাজার মেরু ভাল্লুক রয়েছে।
