Naga Preta Wattu.
A certain heretical monk in Varanasi had two sons and one daughter. The eldest son of the Bamunu family is a friend of the worshiper who offers food and drink. The worshiper took his friend and went near Sankiccha. He preached the Dhamma to Bamuna. Then the hardness of his heart disappeared and a soft heart appeared. Then the worshiper said, "You give alms to one monk."
"Then would you like to give me some charity, offer it to a monk"
Prince Bamunu liked it. The next morning, he went to the temple and brought a monk and offered alms.
Their parents had no faith. There was no favor towards Tunruvan either. Monks have no respect or desire to do meritorious deeds. The young relative, who had decided to marry their daughter, had also entered into the monastic life after hearing the Dhamma from Saint Sankicha. The newly-ordained Lord often visits that house for pindapatha. Then the mother arranges the necessary matters for the Lord's heart to be jealous of the young woman who was betrothed. For the same reason, the Lord decided to retire from the monastic life and informed Upadhyaya about it.
The Lord saw his reasons and said, "Novice, wait for about a month." When asked after the month passed, he said, "Wait for half a month again." When the half-month passed, he said, "Be patient for seven days." That novice also accepted it.
As the seven days passed, the house of the nuns' aunt collapsed due to the wind and rain. Bamuna and Baminiya who lived there, their two sons and the daughter who was going to get married died under the house. Among them, the Brahmin and the Bamini were born in the world of ghosts. Bhumatu was blessed to be born between two sons and a daughter.
“Ahead of all goes a god in a chariot mounted on a white elephant king. Another divine son of a riyaka in the middle of Asvelambun. Then a goddess moves from the body, shining with the light of the divine robes and the gathering of all the limbs extending from the body. You drink each other's blood with clubbed hands and wounded bodies. What kind of evil is this as a result of being human?"
“The divine son who rides on the white elephant couch will be our eldest son. He donated and got well and is now happy. Our second son is the divine son who travels beautifully in the chariot with four charioteers. He now shines because he has given his bounty. Blinking as little as a deer, the goddess moves in a house of gold. That wise woman will be our youngest daughter. She donated half of her food and is now cured and happy.
When the novices asked, the ghosts told their stories and said, "We are your aunt and uncle." Hearing that news, the novices got rid of the frustration of the Sasana and engaged in the Sasana celibacy and soon attained arahat. Sankiccha Raha told this story to the Blessed One. Lord Buddha took that news as meaning and preached the Dhamma to the people present. It led to the enlightenment of many people.
