Korea has two big holidays: Seollal (Lunar New Year) and Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving). But there are two special traditions that only happen on Seollal. People eat tteokguk (rice cake soup) and perform sebae (a deep bow to elders). After sebae, elders give sebaetdon (New Year’s money) to younger family members. But why do people do this on Seollal? Let’s talk about the reasons and meanings behind these traditions! 😊 📌 If you join the YouTube membership, you can enjoy the extended podcast content. 📌 Plus, you can download the Korean script PDF for note-taking for free. 📌 Join the Membership and enjoy the benefits! 👉 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjLys1wWLJLyCJy7n6tRuGA/join 📌 This video is available in a single playback speed. 🎧 You can catch my podcast not just on YouTube but also on Spotify!
