One must realize that a shared faith offers support, but only personal faith fortifies the heart in difficult times. God reveals His Word to anyone who seeks Him personally. When crisis and fear arise, a personal relationship with God becomes the support that prevents us from losing heart. In the example of Isaac, Joseph, David, and Elijah, we see the power of personal faith: it brings prosperity even in famine, protects against giants, and grants wisdom for any trial. God waits for each person to seek Him and stand firmly on His promises, receiving guidance and support from above. Personal faith is born through constant personal fellowship: in prayer, reading Scripture, and a deep desire to hear God’s voice. It compels us to reject fear and boldly follow God—not by imitating someone else’s path, but by receiving our own revelation from Him.
