In the early 1980s, Annabelle embarked on her musical journey with the song "Tears Shed on the Journey," marking the beginning of her rise. However, the song that truly catapulted her to fame was "No Need to Remember the Old Dreams," a Cantonese song composed and written by James Wong. The song caused a sensation and was selected as one of the Top Ten Chinese Gold Songs in 1981. The album of the same name was awarded platinum status.
