I present an example in a table, with two statistics T and U defined, and two possible probability distributions given, a and b. I prove both T and U are sufficient statistics. I explain the concept of minimal sufficient statistic. Then I present a theorem giving a way to verify a sufficient statistic is minimal, and apply it to the example.
