Curd : 3/4 th cup 4. Water : 2 tbsp Now mix it in a mixer. Take a bowl, take the batter in it, cover it and wait for 30 minutes. Boil 4 medium size potato and mash them and keep in a separate bowl. Making the aloo(potato) stuff in karai : 5. Refined oil : 2 tbsp 6. Black mustard seed : 1 tsp 7. Channa(gram) dal : 1 tsp 8. Urad(black gram lentils) dal : 1 tsp 9. Fresh curry leaves : 8 nos 10. Heeng : 1/2 tsp 11. Red chilli whole : 2 nos Fry the above for items for around 2 minutes with low to medium flame. Now add the below items: 12. Chopped Onion : 1 nos 13. Chopped ginger : 1 tsp 14. Turmeric powder : little bit Fry them all for around 1 minute till it turns light brown in colour. Now add mashed potato, little salt as per taste. Now mix all ingredients thoroughly, with low to medium flame. Now in the batter add little water, little salt, 1/4 tsp baking soda, mix it well. Now take one tawa(frying pan), heat it with medium to high, use few drop of refined oil on the surface, then grease it with a tissue paper. Now pour some batter, spread it round, let it dry till colour is changed to little brownish, you can use few drop of refined oil on top, now add the potato stuff, fold it. Dosa is ready. Enjoy.
