A heat pump is a device that accumulates and transmits heat energy from a low temperature source to a higher temperature source. The heat pump collects heat from the environment (from the street or from the ground) and directs it to the consumer (heat carrier) in the heating system. The principle of operation of the heat pump is based on the well-known Carnot cycle. Most efficiently, the heat pump works in conjunction with low-temperature heating systems (for example, "Warm floor").
