Shaykh Ahmad Taahir Uways al-Somali al-Shafi’i graduated from the Islamic University of Madinah with a Doctorate. He is one of the major Somali scholars of our time, he used to frequent Shaykh al-Albani on his visits to Shaam, and he even taught the children of Shaykh Abdul Muhsin al-Abbad including Shaykh Abdur Razzāq al-Badr. He nurtured and taught young Abdur Rahman Hassan and Ustadh benefits from him till this day.
