इन सबके बीच, उनके पिता को gastro-intestinal cancer हो गया। लेकिन Dr. Sujata ने इस मुश्किल को भी संवेदनशीलता और समर्पण के साथ संभाला उन्हें दिल्ली लाकर इलाज कराया, और उनके मानसिक स्वास्थ्य का भी ध्यान रखा। यही नहीं, सारे मानसिक दबावों और पारिवारिक संकटों के बावजूद, उन्होंने खुद को संभाला और UGC NET जैसी कठिन परीक्षा को पास करके एक डॉक्टर बनने का सपना पूरा किया।
5 साल के शोषण का उन्होंने ऐसा जवाब दिया, जिसने न सिर्फ उनका जीवन बदला, बल्कि लाखों लड़कियों के लिए एक मिसाल भी कायम की। यह कहानी हर उस लड़की को एक संदेश देती है कि शिक्षा, आत्मनिर्भरता और हिम्मत ही असली जवाब हैं हर अत्याचार का।

The next 5 years of her married life were nothing less than torture facing physical abuse, mental cruelty, and the scorn of society. It got worse when her character was questioned in court, despite her seeing herself not just as a 'wife' but as an independent human being.
Amid all this, her father was diagnosed with gastro-intestinal cancer. Yet, Dr. Sujata handled this immense challenge with sensitivity and dedication, bringing him to Delhi for treatment and caring for his mental health.
Despite all the emotional pressure and family crises, she held herself together and cleared the extremely tough NEET exam to fulfill her dream of becoming a doctor.
