2020年にワールドシリーズを制覇したドジャース。8年連続でポストシーズンに進出し、やっと手に入れたチャンピョンリングであった。金満球団であるドジャースは、確かにフレディ・フリーマンやムーキー・ベッツといった大物選手を他所の球団から獲得しているわけだが、常にチームを支えているのはクレイトン・カーショウを筆頭としたファームから上がってきた選手である。
完全ウェーバー制であるMLBでは、常にポストシーズンに出ているようなチームは、ファームシステムを維持するのが難しい。ドラフト指名権は順番が悪く、トレードでプロスペクトを放出することもしばしばある。それにもかかわらず、ドジャースは常にファームシステムランキングで上位を占めている。今回の動画は、ドジャースの下部組織に注目して、ドジャースの強さの秘密を考えていこうというものである。
