Hello everyone and welcome to my channel, where we wander through the streets of districts and quarters of an immense metropolis, talk about something interesting and share opinions in the comments below. The very heart of Istanbul is the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and a beautiful garden on the territory of the former hippodrome, near the Topkapi Palace, the Basilica Cistern and many other historical attractions visited daily by millions of tourists… And 200 meters away - dirty, poverty, crumbling buildings. For security reasons, many Turks and some guidebooks strongly recommend tourists not to walk here at night. How did it happen that a great, centuries-old history coexists with ruin and poverty? I suggest we go together to the European part of the old city, to Fatih (Fatih) and walk through the world-famous Sultanahmet district and see only not from the tourist's side, but from the way the locals see it … Pour a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
Enjoy watching 🙏🏻 🙂
