During the weekday and evening rush hours in Japan, trains arriving and departing one after another at Biwakohama Otsu Station on the Keihan-Keishin Line and Ishiyama Sakamoto Line (around 16:30 to 19:00). The Keihan trains of the Keihan line normal (local trains) 800 series and the Ishiyama Sakamoto line regular trains (local trains) 600 and 700 are shown.
The western part of Biwakohama Otsu Station (Sanjo Keihan / Sakamoto Hiei Yamaguchi side) is a combined track, and the Keihan train runs at the intersection of the crossroads of general roads as a road train. The Ishiyama Sakamoto Line (in the direction of Sakamoto Hiei Yamaguchi) leaves the station and goes straight on at the intersection, and the Keihan Line (in the direction of Sanjo Keihan) turns left at the intersection on a sharp curve.
Because of the combined track, there are some scenes where the train departing from the station waits at the red light at the intersection.
In addition to the station platform, the video was shot from the pedestrian bridge at the intersection and from the road surface, showing the Keihan train running on the road.
The platform is 2 lines on 1 side, 1st line is for Sakamoto Hiei Yamaguchi on the Ishiyama Sakamoto line, Sanjo Keihan / Uzumasa Tenjingawa direction on the Keihan line, 2nd line is for Ishiyamadera on the Ishiyama Sakamoto line, and Biwakohama Otsu on the Keihan line. It's going (stops at this station).
After arriving at Line 2, the Keihan Line train goes to the Ishiyamadera side of the station, turns back and enters Line 1, and departs for Uzumasa Tenjingawa.
