জাতিসংঘের সাধারণ অধিবেশন ঘিরে নিরাপত্তার চাদরে ঢেকে ফেলা হয়েছে গোটা নিউইয়র্ক। ১৪০টির বেশি দেশের সরকার ও রাষ্ট্রপ্রধানসহ উচ্চ পর্যায়ে নেতারা অংশ নিচ্ছেন এবারের অধিবেশনে। তাদের নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিতে জাতিসংঘের সদর দপ্তরেই স্থাপন করা হয়েছে ১৪শ' অত্যাধুনিক সিসিটিভি ক্যামেরা। আশেপাশের এলাকায় নিরাপত্তা ব্যবস্থা জোরদারে মোতায়েন করা হয়েছে নিরাপত্তা বাহিনীর বিপুল সংখ্যক সদস্য।
The entire New York has been covered in security around the United Nations General Assembly. High-level leaders including heads of state and governments of more than 140 countries are participating in this session. To ensure their safety, 1400 state-of-the-art CCTV cameras have been installed at the UN headquarters. Security has been beefed up in the surrounding area with a large number of security forces deployed.
