একাদশ জাতীয় সংসদ নির্বাচনে বিএনপির চূড়ান্ত প্রার্থী তালিকা ঘোষণা করেছেন দলটির মহাসচিব মির্জা ফখরুল ইসলাম আলমগীর। শুক্রবার (৭ ডিসেম্বর) বিকেলে দলটির চেয়ারপারসনের রাজনৈতিক কার্যালয়ে প্রার্থীদের নাম ঘোষণা করেন তিনি।
৩০০ আসনের মধ্যে ২০৬টি আসনে দলীয় প্রার্থীর দেন মির্জা ফখরুল। আর বাকি ৯৪টি আসন ২০ দল এবং ঐক্যফ্রন্টকে ছেড়ে দিয়েছে বিএনপি।
এরআগে গতকাল বৃহস্পতিবার বিকেলে বিএনপির মহাসচিব মির্জা ফখরুল ইসলাম আলমগীর সাংবাদিকদের বলেছিলেন, দলীয় প্রার্থীদের আংশিক তালিকা (বৃহস্পতিবার) রাত ৮টার পর প্রকাশ করা হবে। এই কথা বলার পর তিনি মতিঝিলে ঐক্যফ্রন্টের আহ্বায়ক ড. কামাল হোসেনের চেম্বারে জোটের স্টিয়ারিং কমিটির সভায় যোগ দেন। সভা শেষে জানা যায়, বৃহস্পতিবার প্রার্থী ঘোষণা করছে না বিএনপি। বরং শুক্রবার প্রার্থীদের চূড়ান্ত তালিকা প্রকাশ করবেন।
The party's general secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has announced the list of BNP's final candidate in eleven parliamentary elections. On Friday (December 7th), he announced the names of candidates in the political office of the party's chairperson.
