SYNOPSIS - Kanal is a Malayalam thriller flick from the director M Padmakumar. The movie has an ensemble cast of Mohanlal, Anoop Menon, Honey Rose, and Nikitha Thukral in the lead roles. John David(Mohanlal) who is an animator by profession happens to meet Anantharaman(Anoop Menon) a media person after a long gap of many years during a train journey. These meeting refired their old troubled memories, and the resulting events are plotted in M Padmakumar's Kanal. A first look 9 sec motion poster was released on 8th September 2015 via YouTube which shows Mohanlal in the backdrop of a Middle Eastern city with the tagline 'Every end has an old beginning.
