阿傑自從患上糖尿病後悶悶不樂,在一次覆診中與舊同事黃伯重遇。黃伯也是糖尿病患者,透過黃伯夫婦的經驗分享和彼此支持,阿傑漸能以積極的態度來面對糖尿病,並掌握控制糖尿病的技巧,包括飲食原則、運動、藥物使用、外遊、生活技巧及心理調適等各方面的資料,以有效控制血糖,從而享受健康的生活。
Kit has been very unhappy since becoming a diabetic. One day, during a follow-up clinic visit, he met Mr Wong, his former colleague who is also a diabetic. Through experience sharing and mutual support with the Wong couple, Kit gradually becomes more positive towards his illness. With better understanding of diabetic control, including principles of dietary management, exercises, medication, travel tips, daily living skills and psychological adjustment, his blood sugar level is optimised, and he is able to enjoy a healthy life again.
