In this lesson, you will learn how to solve inequalities that have two variables and graph them on an x-y plane.

The first step is simply to ignore the inequality and treat it as the equation of a line. The line is drawn on the xy plane as usual, then we must determine how to shade above or below the line in order to illustrate the inequality.

We work several examples to show how to solve inequalities, graph them, and shade them on a coordinate plane.
