In this lesson we are going learn how to find the limit of functions using
1. direct substitution
2. method of factorization
and to prove whether of not the limits of functions exist.
The limit of functions of two variables can be approached from infinitely many directions.T he limit of a function does not exist if the limit along one path is not same as the limit along another path.
Since there are many infinite directions in approaching the point (a,b) it is usually insufficient to believe that the limit of a function is = L, if two directions give the same results, if two directions give same results, you need to also very along other lines to actually say that could probably be the limit.
The limit of a function can be confirmed using the delta-epsilon definition of limits
