Редитељски двојац води нас на саме врхове Свете Горе, на место где живи готово две хиљаде монаха. Петер Барделе и Андреас Мартин су лишили филм икаквог ауторског коментара, остављајући гледаоцима да сами процењују вредности и квалитете живота на тако посебном месту. Филм је попут поезије, што је додатно подстакнуто фасцинантним пределима и пејсажима, које су том приликом успели да сниме. Приче монаха су кратке али су личне, емотивне, филозофске, духовите, драматичне. Стога је филм попут руковети о њиховим животима. Посебно интригантно је то што нас кроз филм о Светој Гори, као наратор, води женски глас.
