Now this won't fix all buyers however it can go a long way to improve the experience of your buyer by doing this one thing! It might sound silly however many eBay buyers never experience any contact from their seller as the messages they receive are all automated by eBay. This creates a huge disconnect between buyer and seller. A disconnect that makes it easy for the buyer to forget they are dealing with a person. This may not seem like a big deal until your buyer encounters a problem and they immediately leave a negative feedback or open a return request without first reaching out. Had you taken this one step from the start, you can alleviate many (not all) of these pain points for both you and your buyer. This method won't fix buyers with bad intentions. Good news is, most buyers do not have bad intentions nor do they have ill will against the seller. They just don't know better and some need direction if a problem arises.
