I hope you enjoy this video where I show you 10 Amazing Fantasy Cakes that I have created throughout my career.
1. Earth Science Cake - This cake was for the cake competition That Takes the Cake, held every year in Texas. This cake won a few awards including first place in the Showpiece Cake Category and People's Choice.
2. Book Cake - This is a cake that I just recently made for my sweet cousins graduation. I loved how this cake turned out so much that I wanted to add it to the list.
3. Floating Crystal Cake - I just love this cake, if you know me you know I love making over the top geode cakes. I actually teach this cake in an online class! You can find it here: https://www.shelbyelizabethcakes.com/classes
4. Storybook Cake - There is actually a video on my Channel of how I created this cake. I made this cake for a fairytale themed baby shower.
5. Castle Cake - This cake was made for a little girls birthday party. You can also watch how I made this cake on my YouTube channel.
6. Pink Fairy - This cake was created for another cake competition. I won 1st place in the Masters Cake Sculpting category. The theme of the competition was pink. My concept was the personification of pink in nature.
7. Lagoon Cake - Another competition cake! This cake was driven all the way from Houston to Miami Florida! It was huge, tall, and very delicate. It made it into the building safely even though it was raining. The idea for this cake was what a lagoon would look like if you pulled it out of the water by its mangrove trees.
8. Daphne Cake - This cake tells the tragic story of Daphne. This cake was created for another competition where the theme was mythology. I tried my hardest to convey sadness in her eyes as she was in the middle of turning into a laurel tree.
9. Alien Princess - Another competition cake! Surprize! This cake was actually my very first competition sculpted cake. The theme was Sci-Fi and I created an alien bride out of cake for my entry.
10. Fairy with Edible Wings - This cake was all about these beautiful edible wings. I wanted to make really large wings to show off how well this technique worked, so I had to make a fairy to go along with the wings. The fairy turned out adorable and one of my favorite sculpted cakes so far!
