Should you be worried before starting to sew? Is it hard to learn – do you need boatloads of equipment? Can it bring satisfaction even to a beginner?! As with any new skill/hobby/past-time that you may want to try out, it's totally normal to worry about these kinds of things... But if you want to take up sewing, and you find yourself in just such a state of uncertainty, why don't we see if I can dispel some of those concerns – starting here with the first ten I could think of!
It's not to say these things might not be of importance—or just healthy interest—further down the line. But I firmly believe that, if you're just starting out sewing, or are even just thinking about it, then you really don't need to worry about ANY of this stuff. You can do it!
