In this video I go over how to use your 9.2 channel audio video receiver as an 11.2 channel processor using a secondary receiver as an external amplifier. No need to go buy a separate external amplifier when you probably have another AVR already. This is one way you can save money by sticking with one of the lower cost 9 channel receivers and simply adding a method to externally amplify the last 2 channels. Many of the available 9.2 channel receivers are capable of processing the full 11.2 channels needed for the desirable 7.2.4 Atmos setup.
