Still, from a third-party company that makes all kinds of faucet parts from Moen, Kohler, American Standard, Pfister, and more at a cheaper price, this company is called Danco, and I picked up this cartridge from home depot. First, I cut the water off to the home and with the water off. I remove the cover plate and handle, breaking everything down to the main cartridge. And to remove the cartridge, I use a specially made tool for moen 1225 cartridge removal.
