मैकलोडगंज से त्रिउण्ड हिल टॉप तक
Welcome to my very special vlog in which I take you on an unforgettable journey to the majestic Triund Hill Top. This trek had been on my bucket list for a long time, and I finally got the opportunity to complete it in November - the best time to visit this natural jewel.
I started my journey from the main square of Mcleodganj, but unfortunately, during my earlier two trips, I couldn't make it to Triund as my co-travelers were not well. This time, however, I was determined to complete the trek and witness the mesmerizing views of Triund.
My cousin Ashu and his friend joined me in the trek from Gallu Temple, which is 3 km from Dharamkot, and 6 km from the main square of Mcleodganj. The real trek starts from Gallu Temple, and the distance you need to cover from here to reach Triund Hill Top is about 7 km. However, if you don't want to trek, you can reach Gallu Temple by taxi.
The trek is of moderate difficulty and is full of mesmerizing views. It was a sunny day, but as it was November, the weather was pleasant, making the trek enjoyable. We took small breaks at regular intervals, and by 4 o'clock in the evening, we reached the Triund top.
At the top, we had a delicious supper of lentil soup and rice, enjoyed a small talk session with other travelers around the bonfire, and then retired to our tents for a good sleep. When we woke up in the morning, we were pleasantly surprised to find the season's first snowfall had blanketed the entire area in snow.
It was an unexpected and wonderful experience to witness the snowfall. It made my day and added to the already unforgettable experience of the trek.
