1.5 billion UAH for Borodianka’s reconstruction have already been divided among companies with criminal ties and connections to local authorities.
The "Restoration" consortium was formed just a week after the tender was announced, while "Build Life," a company linked to inflated prices in Bucha, received 370 million for a high-rise.
Another consortium, "Veterans of Ukraine," includes companies once owned by individuals connected to the "New Faces" party of Karpliuk, the former mayor of Irpin and a developer. One of the co-owners was already involved in a case with a deceased contractor.
How Borodyanka’s reconstruction turned into a major tender scandal — in an investigation by Nataliia Lazarovych.
