What each one does:
1. SwipeWipe: A super practical app to decide which photos to keep and which to delete, in a very quick and easy way.
2. Flighty: Perfect for those who want to stay up to date with their flights. It notifies you of changes, delays and updates in real time, even before the airlines do.
3. Splitwise: If you travel with friends or family, this app is a lifesaver for splitting expenses. Everything is clear, without having to do the math.
4. XE Currency Exchange: For quick and accurate currency conversions. Very useful if you visit multiple countries in one trip.
5. Metasearch engines (Google Flights, Kayak or Skyscanner): These are my favorite tools for searching for flights and comparing prices. You can find options for almost any destination.
6. Audible: Audiobooks are great company on long trips or while waiting at the airport. Plus, you can download your favorite titles and listen to them offline.
7. VPN: A VPN protects you when using public networks and also allows you to access content that may be blocked in other countries.
8. HolaFly: If you need internet during the trip, this eSIM option allows you to have hassle-free data without worrying about roaming.
9. Omio / TrainLine: These are ideal for organizing train or bus trips, especially in Europe. You can check schedules and buy tickets directly from the app.
10. Notion or Notes: This is where I keep everything: flight confirmations, hotel reservations, and any important information. There's also Tripcase, which works well for many, although I prefer something simpler.
11. Apple Music / Spotify: Having calm music or relaxing playlists helps a lot to relax, especially after an intense day of sightseeing.
12. Packpoint or Notion: Packing lists are my salvation. I use a reusable template so I don't forget anything, especially on long trips.
13. Google Maps / Citymapper: Google Maps is essential for any type of trip, but if the city has complicated public transportation, Citymapper is super useful.
14. Google Translate: If you don't master the language, this app is a must. Plus, you can set up the translator with the iPhone Action Button to use it with a single click.
15. Your airline's app: Having all your flight information in one place always helps: check-in, boarding gate, schedule changes, everything.
