☆八女福島白壁の町並み
八女市の中心部（福島町）は古くからの町
慶長6年（1601）に田中吉政が福島城として整備した後、 久留米藩主有馬氏により廃城となったもが、商家町としての福島は残ったそうです。
以後、八女福島はこの地方の交通の要衝となり、物資の集散地として発展していったそうです。
因みに国選定重要伝統的建造物群保存地区です。

☆土橋市場
レトロなインスタ映えを狙うならココ！と言うぐらいの人気のスポット。
土橋八幡宮の境内にギュッとお店をまとめたのがはじまりみたい。

リニューアルオープンしました。
大浴場完備の温泉施設や、クラフトビールと地元の食材を使用した料理等、
市民の健康増進や憩いの場所として、また、八女市の観光拠点としての役割を担っていくみたいです。

The center of Yame city (Fukushima town) is an old town
After Yoshimasa Tanaka built it as Fukushima Castle in 1601, it was abandoned by the Kurume feudal lord Arima, but Fukushima as a commercial town remained.
Since then, Yame Fukushima has become a transportation hub in this region and has developed as a distribution center for supplies.
By the way, it is a nationally selected important traditional buildings preservation district.

Hot spring facilities equipped with a large communal bath, craft beer and dishes using local ingredients, etc.
It seems that it will play a role as a place for health promotion and relaxation for the citizens and as a sightseeing base for Yame city.
